Mentor 11 student engineering teams through the full development lifecycle, from design and testing to deploying distributed microservices with REST APIs, Docker and CI/CD. Lead weekly classes of 30 on large-scale system design and architecture trade-offs.
Founder & Software Engineer, DeepCS
Deployed and maintain a full-stack learning platform on Cloudflare Workers and D1, serving the React app and all content from the edge. Re-architected a 6-service microservices backend into a single edge Worker after user feedback showed no demand for live collaboration.
Software Engineer, Open Source · Mongoose & node-redis
Improved official documentation for Mongoose (27K+ stars) and node-redis (17K+ stars), with three pull requests reviewed and merged by maintainers (#16371, #16369, #3332). Gaps I found using the libraries in production work.

Founded and launched a perfume business as the sole engineer, designer and operator. Custom React and TypeScript storefront, integrating Shopify for checkout to keep payments and compliance off my plate.
